Comments & Complaints

Workington Health Centre aims to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients. However, if you have any concerns about any aspect of our service, please let us know. Please contact the Practice Manager, who will be happy to listen to your concerns. In the majority of cases, concerns can be resolved quite easily. However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues you have raised by any member of the team, as you would wish, you can write to:

Practice Manager,
Drs'  Schrader, Gold, Kirby and Rudman
South William Street,
CA14 2EW

Any complaints or concerns raised by our patients will not affect the care you receive within practice.

The CCG also operates a Patient Advice and Liason Service (PALS) which can often help resolve any problems before they become formal complaints. To speak to a PALS officer, ring (01946) 523818 (9-3pm Monday to Friday)

If you are unhappy with the response of your complaint, including a complant about an NHS Foundation Trust, you can ask the Care Quality Commission for an 'Independent Review' of your case. The Care Quality Commission is a independent body established to promote improvements in healthcare. You can contact the Commisson at:
