Please ring our telephone number 01900 603985 to book an appointment up to 1 week in advance.
- Urgent cases are seen on the day at the Workington Primary Care Centre @ Workington Hospital. Please ring reception for an appointment.
Patients can request a telephone call from a GP, but this will normally be the GP on call that day, you will not be guaranteed the GP you request.
If your condition is non-urgent you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP.
- Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common condition. We aim for patients to be able to book an appointment with a nurse within 2 working days, when all our nurses are working. This is due to our practice being a small practice, and therefore we have less nursing hours. We request that if a nurse is on annual leave or poorly, we may not always be able to achieve this timescale. In these circumstances we ask for patients patience and understanding. Thank you
- Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen. We can give you longer appointment if necessary.
- Inform us if you want someone to accompany you, a Chaperone, during an examination.
*If you require a private room to discuss any matters please inform Reception.
*Remember that the results of tests can only be given to the patient.
